Here’s a reminder for you today (and one for myself)…

that life is nothing but a series of iterative steps 👣

… a process 📈

… an evolution 💗

Not just your life overall, but the many aspects that play a role in it.

So easy to forget; to lose sight of.

Yet important not to❗

As I say, this is a reminder for myself today.

More on that below … but first 👇👇

Learning From FailureYou may not know I wrote this book almost a decade ago … this article summarizes it (and hints at why it’s important).

The 7 Stages of FailureIt turns out failure is something you CAN PLAN for…

💪 DO THISBe Kind to Yourself — make a list of three things you’ve achieved or progressed in of late, and then, take a few moments to pat yourself on the back 🖐️

this week’s featured book

The Successful Mistake by Matthew Turner — the book I started the day I began working for myself.

I didn’t know it then, but it was *this* that would lay the foundation for my career today — although not in the way I expected 🤯

🎙️ pass the mic

When I think of ITERATION and evolution, Jayson Gaignard comes to mind. If you don’t know him, make today the day you explore his (and MMT’s) world … with a new book in the works, now is the perfect time to get to know him and his rather unique and wonderful brain 🧠

🎤 drop the mic

I seem to be starting and building a lot of new *things* at the moment.

Personally, professionally, family, and more…

It’s exciting, yet it also creates a lot of unease because I want progress and I want it right now. I appreciate the plan. The roadmap. Path ahead…

BUT 😣

I can’t help but be impatient 😞

It stirs those inner voices, worries, insecurities… and once they stir, things can quickly spiral. I sense I’m not alone in that regard.

In fact, I imagine you can relate 🫵

Because like me, you’re human. We want progress and want it now❗

Often, for no other reason than to have the thought of it off our plate.

Because here’s the reality … if I did get everything on course and in a better “place” today, I’d only replace it with a new goal, milestone, aim, or objective.

We never stand still, and that’s both good and The Point.

Because it’s all part of the iterative evolution we are on, in life and within those individual projects we are committed to at any given time.

That’s my reminder for today; this week!

→ To commit to the process. Practice patient. Be present.

… let everything else click into place 🙏

I hope you take something from this reminder today, too ❤️

Thanks for reading, and thank you for being YOU.
